PURPOSE: A brake system for a vehicle is provided to reduce the shock resulting from sudden braking, by installing a damping device, which absorbs a tensional stress, between an axle shaft and a brake disc. CONSTITUTION: A damping device is equipped between an axle(DS) and a brake disk(D), and reduces the braking shock by relieving the twist stress between the brake disk and the axle. The first gear(1) is installed on the brake disk. A damping body(4) is joined with the axle by a spline(3) to be slid and forms the second gear(2) joined with the first gear. A torsion damper(5) is equipped between the axle and the damping body. A driving device moves the damping body in sudden braking. A solenoid valve(6) is equipped on the driving device and is connected with the damping body. An ECU(8) is connected with the solenoid valve and a brake sensor(7).
