摘要 PURPOSE: An ultrasonic wave imaging system and a method thereof are provided to obtain a harmonic image having reduced false images and more improved contrast and azimuth resolution by varying velocity and frequency of an ultrasonic wave transmitted into a human body according to physical media subjected to harmonic imaging video images. CONSTITUTION: A control panel(31) has a harmonic mode key for obtaining harmonic images. An OHI mode unit(32) stores parameters of ultrasonic waves for obtaining the optimum harmonic images according to physical media in the object bodies, and outputs parameters of the ultrasonic wave corresponding to the physical media in the body in question. In a harmonic imaging mode, a transmitter unit(33) is applied with parameters from the OHI mode unit(32) and transmits corresponding ultrasonic waves to the object body. A receiver unit(35) receives reflected signals from the object body, and separates harmonic signals in respect to the transmitted ultrasonic waves to output by performing a signal treatment for a receiving concentration. A digital signal treatment unit(37) is applied with signals from the transmitter and receiver units(33,35) and performs and outputs a signal concentration and a signal treatment for obtaining OHI. A control unit(30) controls operations of the foregoing units for obtaining ultrasonic images and OHIs corresponding to key inputs of the harmonic mode key.
