Slat for blinds has aluminium sheets

Slat comprises two rectangular sheets (1) joined together lengthwise. The cross section of the slat is elliptic shaped. Protrusion, recess, pleats and a joining piece for joining are provided at the ends of the major axis of the ellipse. Preferably the slit has an expanded polystyrene or polyurethane filling (3) in its interior and the sheets (1) are aluminium.
