<p>PURPOSE:To generate a notch section and a pilot signal having better characteristics by inserting special bits every (m) bits of an input data series and performing an interleaved NRZI modulation. CONSTITUTION:When the special bit is 0 or 1, as the output of a bit extracting circuit 1, N frequency components are extracted by respective frequency extracting circuits 2 and 3. At a comparing circuit 4, the outputs of the circuits 2 and 3 are compared and special bit which is closer to the desired frequency characteristics is decided. At an output selecting circuit 5, one of the output series in which special bit of the circuit 1 is 0 and the output series in which special bit is 1 is selected in accordance with the output of the circuit 4 and outputted.</p> |
