WINDING APPARATUS OF COVER TAPE AND TAPE FEEDER OF CHIP MOUNTER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A winding apparatus of a cover tape and a tape feeder of a chip mounter using the same are provided to enable a wheel winding a cover tape to be normally and inversely rotated and achieves a small sized apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A shaft is installed on a frame to be normally and inversely rotated. A wheel(42) is installed on the shaft(41). A cover tape reel(43) on which a cover tape(43) is wound is mounted on the shaft(41), on which the wheel(42) is installed. An auxiliary link of a support unit is installed on the seventh link(38) to be rotated. A satellite wheel(45) is installed on an end part of an auxiliary link and closely adhered to the cover tape reel(43). A torsion spring(46) is installed between the auxiliary link(39) and the seventh link(38) to elastically bias the satellite wheel(45) on an outer peripheral surface of the cover tape reel(43). The satellite wheel(45) is rotated only in a counter clock direction. Such one-direction rotation is conducted by an one-way clutch. A fixed wheel(48) is installed on the frame by an elastic unit. The elastic unit includes a pivot lever(47a) which is elastically biased to the cover tape reel by the torsion spring.
