PURPOSE: A sled motor and an actuator driving control method and a disk search method using the same are provided for obtaining an accurate and stable search operation by performing a rough search and fine search using a sled motor driving voltage and actuator driving voltage. CONSTITUTION: A voltage is applied to a normal sled motor. The number of FG signals which are generated during one rotation of a sled motor is counted and is stored into a backup data. A conventional type memory or new memory may be used. An adjusting value based on a motor error may be stored in the memory. For example, the adjusting value may be stored as a driving voltage of the sled motor corresponding to a difference of the number of the FG signals generated during one rotation of the motor or as an offset.
