PURPOSE: A method for collecting HCl gas and its apparatus are provided, to improve the efficiency and to reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION: HCl is collected by using a scrubber, wherein Ca(OH2) aqueous solution is used as a collector, and the HCl gas inflown to the scrubber is collected with the aqueous solution circulates the inside of the scrubber. The apparatus comprises: a suction pump (21) which makes the HCl gas generated in the pickling bath (20) be inflown to the scrubber (22); a scrubber (22) which collects HCl gas; an aeration tank (24) which is set in an aqueous chamber (23) placed in lower part of the scrubber (22); a ventilation motor (25) which supplies air for the aeration tank (24); a circulation pump (26) which allows Ca(OH)2 aqueous solution to be circulated inside of the scrubber (22) continuously; an aqueous solution storage tank (27) which supplies Ca(OH)2 solution into the scrubber (22); a pH meter (28) which measures the acidity of the aqueous solution collected in the aqueous solution chamber (23) of the scrubber (22); and a pH display part (29).
