VOICE RESPONSE CONTROL APPARATUS FOR FAX MACHINE

PURPOSE: A voice response control apparatus for a fax machine is provided for decreasing a fabrication cost of a vice response fax machine by substituting an input and output circuit of a modem with one integrated CODEC IC. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit(10) is constituted to control the entire operation of a fax machine system. In particular, the central processing unit(10) controls a CODEC IC(50) and transmits and receives a fax data and transmits an OGM(Outgoing Message) stored in a digital signal processor(30) to the outside and stores an ICM(Incoming Message) transmitted from the outside. A digital signal processor(DSP)(30) compresses an analog signal converted into a digital signal in accordance with a control signal of the central processing unit(10).
