PURPOSE: A fabric for swimming suit obtained by weaving synthetic yarns comprising nylon on elastic yarns to form elastic fabrics having elasticity in all directions, weaving synthetic yarns comprising polyester thereon and melting a part of the polyester yarn by a burn-out process is provided, which has a three-dimensional pattern. CONSTITUTION: The fabric for swimming suit is prepared by the process consisting of: weaving a structural loop from 1-0 to 1-2 using elastic yarn having shrinkage; obtaining a basic structure having high shrinkage and elasticity by weaving a structural loop from 2-3 to 1-0 using elastic yarn having shrinkage on elastic yarn; and weaving a structural loop from 1-0 to 2-3 using synthetic yarn comprising polyester thereon and melting a part of the polyester yarn.
