MAGNETIC HEAD SLIDER AND THEREOF MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A magnetic head slider and a producing method thereof are provided to prevent the rotation of the head slider caused by a difference in a linear velocity inputted when a recording traveling for operating a stable recording. CONSTITUTION: A head slider(22) has an air flow path(20) at a lower portion of a front surface(22a). The slider is connected to a load beam applying load to the head slider through an elastic bending unit. A sectional area(20o) of an external side of the air flow path is larger than a sectional area(20i) of an internal side based on a central axis of the head slider. Thus, a difference between air pressures(Pi,Po) applied to internal and external sides of the front surface is compensated. Herein, a contact area(Ai) between the inner side and air is larger than a contact area(Ao) between the outer side and the air for balancing in left and right moments. Therefore, a balance is maintained between air pressures applied to the head slider.
