PURPOSE: A gear shifting control method of a manual transmission is provided to improve a gearshift feeling and a response, by controlling ignition timing according to a gear shifting condition. CONSTITUTION: The first step(ST1) is to detect the moving and stopping of a gearshift lever through a gearshift lever sensing sensor(S1) and to transfer the signal to an ECU. The second step(ST2) is to decide whether the signal is switched on. The third step(ST3) is that an engine rpm sensing sensor(S2) detects an engine rpm and transfers the detected signal to the ECU. A forth step(ST4) is that the ECU decides whether the signal is over a fixed value. A fifth step(ST5) is that a throttle opening voltage sensing sensor(S3) detects a throttle opening voltage and transfers the detected signal to the ECU. A sixth step(ST6) is to decide whether the detected signal is over the fixed value. A seventh step(ST7) is that the ECU controls ignition timing by controlling an ignition advance device(M). An eighth step(ST8) is that the gear shifting is completed by an OFF of the detected signal of the gearshift lever sensing sensor.
