INTERFACE APPARATUS BETWEEN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SWITCH AND INTERWORKING UNIT

PURPOSE: An interface apparatus between a mobile communication switch and an interworking unit is provided for enhancing availability of a trunk channel by binding a plurality of subscriber data of low speed(8kbps) and mapping to one trunk channel. CONSTITUTION: A first top level data link controller(110) binds a plurality of low speed subscriber data, controls a process in a top level data link, separates a subscriber data from the top level link based on a time slot and transmits to a corresponding subscriber. A first high speed SRAM(120) stores the subscriber data of a plurality of channels processed by the first top level data link controller(110) and subscriber data transmitted from an IWF network based on each subscriber. An intersystem link protocol processor(130) ISLP-processes a subscriber data from the first high speed SRAM(120) and high speed subscriber data obtained in an IWF network and stores into the first high speed SRAM(120).
