INITIAL ACQUISITION METHOD AND APPARATUS OF SETTLED CDMA RECEIVE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An acquisition device of a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) fixed receiving system is provided to use a PN(Pseudo Noise) code acquisition method so as to improve an acquisition time as much as 2N/W times. CONSTITUTION: A system classifies a PN(Pseudo Noise) code according to a size of each chip, and counts the classified PN codes. The system decides a code kind occupying over a majority within one window, and decides the code kind as signal of the PN code chip. The system compares whether the signal of each chip is similar with a chip signal in a same location. If so, the system lastly decides the signal as the PN code. If the signal of each chip is not similar with the chip signal in the same location, the system compares the signal of each chip with a next chip signal, and decides the PN code.
