PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to be capable of preventing light from being penetrated at a part of a data line according to a rubbing direction of an orientation film. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a gate line(100) which is formed on a transparent substrate in a horizontal direction. A data line(200) is arranged in a vertical direction so as to be intersected with the gate line(100). A gate electrode, which is diverged from the gate line, is formed in the same direction as the data line(200). A source electrode(160), connected to a source region of an active layer(120), and a drain electrode(180), connected to a drain region of the active layer, are diverged from the data line(200) in the same direction as the gate line(100). Below the data line(200), a shield film(400) is patterned so as to be overlapped asymmetrically in a left or right direction of the data line(200).
