PURPOSE: A automatic opening and shutting device of a side door of a trunk is provided to automatically open and shut a side door by using an air compressor, so the safety of workers and reduction of working time is achieved. CONSTITUTION: A power permitting device of a selecting switch part(2) permits the power when a side door(10) is opened and shut in order to supply the air contained in an air reservoir(9) by an air compressor(8). A front/rear connector of a front/rear side selecting valve(3) selects the front and the rear of the side door by connecting selectively the first(18) and the second pipe(19). A rear door connecting device of a rear operating valve(4) selects a rear door(16) connecting the third pipe(24) by the selecting switch part. A left/right connecting device of a left/right selecting valve(5) selects and opens/shuts the left and the right of the front/rear side door. A driving device of an actuator member(6) is operated by the air pressure through the left/right side pipe, and opens and shuts the side door and a rear door by winding or unwinding a wire(31).
