PURPOSE: A cell bus clock signal supply apparatus for a cell bus connection board in an asymmetric digital subscriber line network connection system and a method for controlling the same are provided for stabilizing a system by supplying a cell bus clock signal through other cell bus clock supply board when an error occurs in a cell bus clock supply board by forming a cell bus clock supply line in a dual structure. CONSTITUTION: A modem self back board(300) includes a plurality of subscriber matching boards(10) in an asymmetric digital subscriber line connection system, and a cell bus capable of transmitting and receiving an ATM cell between an optical interface board(20) and a maintaining and management board(30). A pattern line is formed in the cell bus so that the interfaced boards(10, 20, 30) receive a cell bus read/write clock signal selectively generated in the first and second cell bus clock signal supply boards(100, 200).
