ADAPTER FOR A COLLECTING OF A SMALL SIZE CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: An adapter for storing a small sized cartridge is provided to mutually mount cartridges storing optical disks of various radii in one tray. CONSTITUTION: In case of mounting a small sized cartridge(40) on a tray(16) of a cartridge having a radius of 12cm, a small sized cartridge is inserted to a store space(50a) of a cartridge adapter(50). A curved unit of a support pin on the cartridge adapter is contacted with an edge of the small sized cartridge for being receded. A support groove(40a) of the small sized cartridge is located to face the support pin. A front end of the support pin is inserted to the support groove by repulsive force of a compressing spring. Herein, a shutter(42) of the cartridge is hung on a hanging sill(56a) of an auxiliary shutter(56). Moreover, a terminal hole(40b) is connected to a detect unit(62) in a ground method.
