METHOD FOR PREPARING NATURALLY DEGRADABLE WATER-PROOF COATED CONTAINER

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a water-proof coated container which is naturally degradable after its use by the growth of micro-organisms in zein being a component of the coating composition to prevent environmental pollution is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a naturally degradable water-proof coated container comprises the steps: a) introducing aqueous polyethylene diluted in alcohol and zein extracted from a corn at a ratio of 5:5 and mixing with stirring; b) applying uniformly the solution containing aqueous polyethylene and zein mixed in the stirring step a) on one surface of the paper supplied by a roller and passing an overhead hot-air drier and a roller in the rear to compress and dry in order to unite the paper and the solution; and c) supplying the paper on which the solution is applied at a uniform thickness to produce a certain shaped container.
