PURPOSE: A torch cutter machine is provided not to be separated, to be easily repaired and to prevent the shutdown of an operation by removing a contact filler as a width detector and a lifting and dropping device and by enabling equipments to use information in common with the torch cutter machine. CONSTITUTION: A torch cutter machine comprises a width adjuster(44) adjusting the width of a slab, a bloom and a billet, and outputting width data; a higher controller(43) storing operation data and automatically outputting the cutting data of the length and the width of the slab, the bloom and the billet; a manual input device(42) manually inputting the cutting data and outputting a selecting signal to let a torch cutter machine controller(41) select the cutting data from the higher controller or the cutting data from the manual input device; and the torch cutter machine controller deciding a cutting position according to the selecting signal, especially calculating the position of the width by subtracting the width data of the manual input device or the higher controller from a distance between the grooves of the torch cutter machine, and by dividing the subtracted value into two and inputting the result to the torch cutter machine. In this structure, a contact filler as a width detector and a lifting and dropping device are not necessary so that the torch cutter machine is not separated caused by the contact filler and the lifting and dropping device and reduces a cutting time.
