PURPOSE: A driving device of a facsimile is provided to perform selectively a receiving function, a transmitting function, and a copy function by using only one motor. CONSTITUTION: A driving gear(31) is installed at an end portion of a rotary shaft. A swing gear(32) is combined with the driving gear(31). The swing gear(32) performs an arc movement and a rotation movement on a constant track according to a rotation direction. A mode switching device receives selectively a driving force according to the movement of the swing gear(32) and switches a mode. A plurality of gear receives the driving force by the movement of the swing gear(32) and operates each roller(51,61,81). A reception portion controller controls a reception portion.
