PURPOSE: A position switch for a vacuum circuit breaker is provided to smoothly operate a position switch and prevent the position switch from being damaged by an external impact by installing the position switch within a truck part. CONSTITUTION: A bracket(101) is fixed on an inside of a base of a truck part(2) with a bolt(113). Two micro switches(6) are coupled to the bracket(101). A shaft is installed on the inside of the base of the truck part(2) to be rotated. The shaft is positioned on a lower part of the micro switches(6). A worm wheel(107) is fixed on the shaft. The worm wheel(107) forms a worm gear(105) together with a worm(106) installed on an upper part of the worm wheel(107) to rotate the shaft. Both ends of the shaft are protruded to the outside of the base(4). Levers(108) are installed on the both protruded both end parts to be rotated together with the shaft. Protrusions(109) are installed on the levers(108), respectively. Guide members(110) are installed on both sides on an inside surface of a distribution plate(10). A long hole(111) is installed in a vertical direction to guide the protrusions(109). If the shaft is rotated by the worm gear(105), the truck part(2) is forwardly or backwardly moved according to the rotational direction. A push plate(103) is fixed on an outer peripheral surface of the shaft. A plurality of wings(104) are formed on the push plate(103) to be contacted with rollers(7) of the micro switches(6) and selectively operate the micro switches.
