SPINDLE MOTOR FOR DISC PLAYER

PURPOSE: A spindle motor assembly is provided to minimize rotational vibration caused by eccentricity of a disk while reducing a size of the assembly. CONSTITUTION: A guide member(240) is inserted to a central combining hole of a disk(10). A lower surface of the disk is contacted to a contact member(250) on an upper portion of a rotor motor(230). A distance between a bearing(270) at an upper end of a shaft(210) and the disk is reduced for minimizing transfer of a centrifugal force generated by eccentricity of the disk to a spindle motor assembly. Thus, rotational vibration caused by the eccentricity of the disk is minimized. Moreover, the distance between the bearing and the disk is reduced for reducing a size of the spindle motor assembly.
