PURPOSE: A battery packaging apparatus is provided to achieve an improved productivity and reduced manufacturing cost by allowing a series of processes ranging from a battery supply to a completion of packaging to be automated. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a wrapping paper supply unit(200) installed onto a portion of a work table(100) and which has a guide roller and a supply frame, a first fusion splicing unit(300) installed at an exit side of the wrapping paper supply unit, a cutting unit(400) installed at an exit side of the first fusion splicing unit and which cuts an entrance of the wrapping paper so as to form an inlet for a battery, a wrapping paper suction unit(500) installed onto the work table and which sucks the inlet of the wrapping paper and raises the inlet, an inlet expanding unit(600) installed in front of the wrapping paper suction unit and which sucks the whole surface of the inlet, a battery input unit(700) installed onto a rear portion of the inlet expanding unit, a battery supply unit(800) installed in the rear of the battery input unit and which has a belt conveyor for transportation of the battery, and a second fusion splicing unit(900) installed between the inlet expanding unit and the wrapping paper suction unit and which has a fusion splicing plate and a heating plate.
