PURPOSE: An apparatus for saving a power of a DECT(Digital European Telecommunication) is provided for increasing a non-charging usage time of a terminal by controlling an output of a power amplifier based upon the current output from a battery in accordance with a receiving electrical field strength. CONSTITUTION: A bias controller(50) includes a low pass filter(LPF)(51), a current controller(53) and a buffer amplifier(55). The LPF(51) receives a part of a RSSI signal inputted from the LPF(51) and removes a high frequency noise of RSSI data. The current controller(53) controls the level of the output current of a battery inputted into a power amplifier based on a RSSI level inputted through the controller. If the level of the RSSI is high, the amount of the current output from the battery is decreased. If the level of the RSSI is low, the level of the current output from the battery is increased.
