SMALL ALL-SOLID-STATE REFERENCE ELECTRODE HAVING SELF DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION

摘要

PURPOSE: A small all-solid-state reference electrode having a self diagnosis function is provided to improve the reliability of measured value by having self diagnosis function able to determine the operational malfunction and reduce the pollution of a mooring post. CONSTITUTION: In a reference electrode(40) of potentiometry electrode system, the reference electrode increases interface area of the reference electrode contacting with a sample and introduces ion sensing membrane including ion-selective material as a protective membrane of inside reference solution. The reference electrode includes a substrate, a metal layer, a difficult soluble metal salt layer, an insulating film layer(18) for insulating the metal layer of solutions, hydrogel as an inside reference gel, and an ion-sympathy protective membrane(17) for separating sample solution and the inside reference solution except the part where a mooring post(16) will be formed and operating as an ion-sensitive membrane in case that the mooring post is polluted.
