PURPOSE: A method and a device for demodulating a baseband signal of a mobile communication system, are provided to configure a correlator, accumulator and a PN(Pseudo Noise) code generator in minimum, and to share in a time division multiplexing so as to minimize a hardware size according to the increase of a channel number. CONSTITUTION: A/D(Analog-to-Digital) converters over-sample subscriber signals to baseband signals. A reference signal is decided among the over-sampled signals, using delayers(111,112) of each front end finger(110-140) of front end rake receivers(100-400), and earlier signals and later signals than the reference signal are respectively sampled. The sampled reference signal, early signals and late signals are respectively inputted to decimators(113,114,115) of each front end finger(110-140). A transmission unit configured with bus lines transmits the signals through time division by a set period to each predetermined path, according to kinds of the reference signal, early signals and late signals. And a reverse-diffusion unit performs reverse-diffusion for the transmitted signals, to calculate a correlation.
