MANUFACTURING SYSTEM FOR FOAMED STYRENE RESIN

PURPOSE: A foam styrene resin producing device is provided to adjust the size of a resin particle conveniently and simply, and to improve productivity by saving energy and reducing a cycle. CONSTITUTION: A foam styrene resin manufacturing apparatus is composed of a pure water tank(10) supplying pure water; a styrene monomer tank(11) supplying a styrene monomer; a distributing tank(12) supplying various additives; a foaming agent tank(13) supplying a foaming agent; a preliminary polymerizing tub(14) and a screw feeder reactor(15) for pre-reaction; a main polymerizing tub(16) such as a main reactor; a cooling circulator(17) cooling and aging; a drum screen(18) washing; a sludge tank(19) such as a temporary storing place; a centrifugal separator(20) and a dehumidifying system(21) for dehydration and dehumidification; and a dehumidifying drier(22) operating at a final step. Various additives are added in pre-reaction, screw feeder reaction and main reaction steps. The main stage reacts with two steps according to temperature. A proper additive is added according to the reaction step to compensate the defect between the physical properties of foam styrene resin. The particle is obtained over 94% with adding a resin particle control agent and a dispersing agent in the main reaction step, and with changing the stirring speed.
