APPARATUS FOR SLITTING EDGE TAPE

PURPOSE: An edge tape slitting apparatus is provided to efficiently prevent waste of the edge tape and enhance productivity by hanging the edge tape on a rotational shaft and directly slitting to a required amount. CONSTITUTION: A main frame(4) is provided on a floor in the vertical direction via a base plate(5). A rotational shaft support device is provided to the main frame(4). A slitting device is provided to subsidiary frames(7a,7b,7c) connected with the main frame(4) to move upward to the winding surface of the raw material(52). The rotating device is arranged perpendicularly to the main frame(4) to rotate the raw material(52) in a predetermined rate. A slitting width adjusting device is arranged in the lower part of the rotating device to change the position of the raw material(52) mounting thereby adjusting the slitting width. A motor RPM adjusting device is provided perpendicularly to the upper part of the main frame(4) via the subsidiary frame(7a) to adjust the slitting rate. A winding device transports edge tapes(X) slit from the raw material for the next process.
