PURPOSE: A method for speed reading training using display device is provided to practice speed reading by storing optional document data in the computer, which is composed of an electronic book with liquid screen, digital caption player, communication device that possesses LCD similar to PDA, and a monitor, and outputting the document data at a constant speed reading training condition. CONSTITUTION: A method for speed reading training using display device is composed of storage, selection, determination, and control. The function key input device(20) includes function keys for increase and decrease of speed, speed reading speed adjustment, start/stop of speed reading, temporary stoppage, speed reading mode selection, and page shift. The flash memory(30) is used to store letter data and the system memory(60) is composed of ROM or RAM that possesses speed reading training device's management control program. The driver(40) and the display device(50) are designed to display letters and the communication interface device(70) downloads letter data through the communication network. A CPU is included to determine and to control the speed reading training condition and speed reading movement mode according to the user's function selection and speed reading mode selection through function key input device.
