COMPUTER SYSTEM HAVING BUTTON SWITCH FOR PERFORMANCE OF VOICE RECOGNITION CAPABILITY

PURPOSE: A computer system having a button switch for performance of voice recognition capability is provided to activate/inactivate a voice recognition capability by using the button switch installed in the front bezel of a computer main frame. CONSTITUTION: A computer system has a system main frame(200) equipped with a button switch(300) to activate/inactivate a voice recognition capability and a light emitting diode(310) to display an active/inactive status of the voice recognition capability in the front bezel. The computer system has a key board(100) and a display monitor(110) as an input/output device and has a micro phone(120) for inputting a voice. A shell program and a speech input program related to button switch(300) are stored in computer system. A user can be on/off the speech input program by using the button switch(300). The button switch(300) and the shell program provide a user interface to operate the voice input program stored in the computer system. The light emitting diode(310) displays the active/inactive status of the speech recognition capability by an on/off lamp.
