PURPOSE: A method is provided to allow users to more clearly recognize the long word which is not displayed simultaneously onto a single screen. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying onto a screen a long word being divided into several parts, comprises the steps of displaying number of characters to the maximum in a first display time from among the entire characters of the word to be displayed, temporarily pausing such a display, and scrolling the remaining characters which have not been displayed, at a low speed so as to allow users to sufficiently recognize the remaining characters. Thus, users are allowed to clearly recognize the long word which cannot be displayed simultaneously onto a single screen.
