DEVICE FOR COOLING A MAGNETIC CLUTCH OF A COMPRESSOR USE IN AN AIR CONDITIONER OF A AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE: A magnet clutch cooling device of vehicle compressor is provided to effectively prevent decrease of adsorption of amateur plate to a rotor by appropriately cooling the magnet clutch during drive of air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A magnet clutch(1) cooling device for vehicle air conditioner consists of a stator(4) with power selectively fed according to on/off of air conditioner and fixed to an end of crank case; a rotor(2) connected by a V belt with an engine during combined rotatably to a protruding end of crankshaft(S); an amateur plate(5) fixed at a specific gap from the rotor on a proximal end of the crankshaft; a leaf spring(6) commonly fixed to the amateur plate and to the crankshaft and a radiation fan(8) blowing air toward the magnet clutch. Thermal deformation of rotor or amateur plate, adsorption decrease of amateur plate and lock event thereof are effectively prevented while efficiency, reliability and stability of compressor for vehicle air conditioner are remarkably enhanced.
