COOLING DEVICE OF COMPRESSOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A cooling device of a compressor is provided to prevent temperature of a compressor itself from rising up and to enhance efficiency of the compressor by controlling rpm(revolutions per minute) of a cooling fan depending on /off and temperature of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(20) receives a drive command, and a compressor temperature sensor(21) detects surface temperature of a compressor(24). A microcomputer(22) outputs a drive signal according to the drive command of the key input unit and outputs a control signal depending on compressor temperatures from the compressor temperature sensor. A compressor drive unit(23) drives the compressor according to the drive signal of the microcomputer. A cooling fan drive unit(25) is driven by variable rpm of a motor(26) according to the control signal. The motor is a BLDC(Brushless Direct Current) motor having variable rpm depending on feed voltage or a pulse motor having variable rpm depending on feed frequency. A cooling device of a compressor is run depending on temperatures of the compressor. Therefore, the compressor is prevented from overheating effectively.
