PURPOSE: A T-correction apparatus for an EFM signal demodulation and a correction method of the same are provided for removing an error when an EFM signal is recovered by accurately correcting a T-component of an edge detection signal even when the phase of PLLCK is not accurate. CONSTITUTION: A T-correction apparatus for an EFM signal demodulation includes a first counter(200), a second counter(210), a carry corrector(215), a comparator(220), a position counter(240), an edge detector(230), and a shift register. The first counter(200) counts a PLL clock signal applied from a PLL(not shown) when an EFM signal is a high level and outputs a result of the count as a N-bit data(T_PLLCK£N-1:0|). The second counter(210) counts a high frequency signal(HIFQCK) having a frequency higher than a PLL clock signal by a certain multiple when an EFM signal is a high level.
