PURPOSE: A device for automatically removing burr of a union I using a flexible jig is provided to automatically remove burr of the union I in the state that the union I is supported by the flexible jig. CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically removing burr of a union I(30) using a flexible jig includes a drilling machine(34) driven vertically, a loading/unloading means, a clamping means, a flexible jig means(70), a plurality of position sensors and a controller. The drilling machine has a reamer(34a) rotatably mounted at the lower end to remove burr of the union I. The loading/unloading means transfers a new union I to a processing position and discharges the processed union I to the outside. The clamping means locates the central axis of the union I and the processing axis of the reamer in the same position and clamps. The flexible jig means supports the clamping means to move in all directions on the processing axis within the restricted range. The position sensors detect the operation state of the drilling machine, the loading/unloading means and the clamping means. The controller operates the drilling machine, the loading/unloading means and the clamping means in turn in response to position sensing signal input from the position sensors and controls to remove burr of the union I.
