APPARATUS FOR MEASURING THE CHOLESTEROL CONCENTRATION IN BLOOD LIPOPROTEIN AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the concentration of cholesterol in blood lipoprotein and its method are provided, without the optional test system and the pretreating of sample. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of capturing and separating specific lipoproteins by using an antibody which is specifically adhered to and selected antigen; and generating the development signal proportional to the cholesterol concentration of uncaptured specific lipoproteins enzymologically. The apparatus is provided with a measurement device (1) which comprises an antibody pad member (100) which transmits specific lipoprotein selectively and separates it: an enzyme degradation pad member (200) which degrades the specific lipoprotein selectively transmitted to generate cholesterol, degrades the cholesterol and provides the coloring material; a signal generation pad member (300) which reacts with the degraded product and the coloring material to display the intensity proportional to the cholesterol concentration; and an absorption pad member (400).
