PURPOSE: A disk drive apparatus is provided for decreasing an assembling process and time for engaging screws. CONSTITUTION: A floppy disk drive apparatus(10) includes a floppy disk drive(20), a body(50) and a cover(80). The floppy disk drive(20) includes a construction(not shown) for accessing a floppy disk. The floppy disk drive(20) is formed in a cubic shape. The floppy disk drive(20) includes a front surface(22) and a back surface(20) which form a length, and an upper surface(26) and a bottom surface(28) which form a height, and a right surface(30) and a left surface(32) which form a width. The floppy disk drive(20) includes an opening(34) at the front surface(22) for accessing the disk and includes an ejecting button(36) for ejecting the floppy disk inserted in the interior of the system. The back surface(24) of the floppy disk drive(20) is connected with the interface board(110).
