TRACKING CONTROL APPARATUS FOR OPTICAL DISK PLAYER

PURPOSE: A controlling method for a tracking of an optical disk player is provided to transfer an optical pickup without oscillation or stopping regardless of a tracking error signal deviated from a normal range caused by defect on an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: Data recorded on an optical disk is reproduced through transferring an optical pickup from an inner circumference toward an external circumference. An RF(Radio Frequency) signal reproduced by the optical pickup is amplified into a specific level while outputting a tracking error signal. In case of the tracking error signal within a normal range, a tracking adjusting signal is outputted for controlling the optical pickup in response to the tracking error signal. Then, an actuator driving control signal is outputted for adjusting tracking while transferring the optical pickup. In case of the tracking error signal without the normal range, a tracking adjusting signal of a normal range is outputted for adjusting tracking while transferring the optical pickup.
