PURPOSE: A compensation device of booster malfunction for a vehicle braking device and the method are provided to achieve normal braking operation by only sensing the pressure of a booster when stepping a braking pedal. CONSTITUTION: A compensation device of booster malfunction for a vehicle braking device and the method comprises: a vacuum pressure sensing device(54) to sense a vacuum pressure of an A-chamber(68) of a booster(66); an atmosphere pressure sensing device (56) to sense an atmosphere pressure of an B-chamber(72) of the booster; an electronic control device(58) to receive signals of the vacuum pressure sensing device and the atmosphere pressure sensing device; a brake stepping sensing device; an air-pumping device(62) to be connected with the electronic control device and to generate air; a connection device to be divided in connecting lines between a vacuum valve of the booster and an intake manifold and to be connected with the B-chamber.
