PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device is provided to be capable of repairing a line short circuit at an intersection portion between the gate line and the data line. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of gate lines(110) which are formed on an insulation substrate(10) in a horizontal direction. Dual common electrode lines(120,140) are formed between adjacent gate lines(110) in parallel with the gate lines(110). A plurality of common electrodes(140) is formed so as to connect the dual common electrode lines(120,140) in a vertical direction. The gate lines, the dual common electrode lines and the common electrode are covered by a gate insulation film(20). A plurality of repair patterns(210) is formed on the gate insulation film(20) so as to be overlapped one or all of common electrodes(120,130) adjacent to the gate line(110).
