PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to allow a bicycle to always travel forward regardless of direction of pedal rotation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a pedal shaft(100) having a square portion and which drives in forward and reverse direction according to a driving of a pedal, a power transmission unit having a carrier contacting the square portion of the pedal shaft and which has forward clutch pins(211) and reverse clutch pins(212) and a first sun gear(220) of which inner periphery contact the forward clutch pins and of which outer periphery has a gear portion, a power conversion unit(300) having a second sun gear(310) of which inner periphery contacts the reverse clutch pins and which has at an outer periphery thereof a gear portion, a front planetary gear(320) engaged with the first sun gear, and a rear planetary gear(330) engaged with the front planetary gear and the second sun gear, a sprocket(400) extended from an outer periphery of the first sun gear, a shaft housing(500), and a coupling unit for coupling the components. |
