PURPOSE: An optical recording medium and a fabrication method of the same are provided for enhancing a repeated recording characteristic of an over write jitter by minimizing a jitter bump phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A lower dielectric layer, a recording layer, an upper dielectric layer, a reflection layer, and a UV resin which is a protection layer are sequentially stacked on a polycarbonate substrate having a thickness of 0.6mm or 1.2mm. The dielectric layer is formed of ZnS-SiO2 and may be formed of SiO2, (ZrxCe1-x)O1-y, AIN, Al2O3. A gas of N2, O2, CO2 is inserted into upper and lower sides or one side of the recording layer by adding a small amount of GeSb-Sb2Te2 group material or Ag, Se, In, Co, etc. or using Ag-In-Sb-Te group material for thereby forming an interface layer having a thickness of about 5nm. |
