STARCH-FOAMING AGENT AND METHOD FOR FORMING PRODUCT THEREOF

PURPOSE: A starch-foaming agent which has environment affinity and a method for producing products such as mat or packing material with the use of the foaming agent are provided. CONSTITUTION: The starch-foaming agent comprises starch 100Wt parts, polyvinyl alcohol 10-40Wt parts, calcium carbonate 1-5Wt parts, glycerine 1-3Wt parts; and the method includes the steps of; extruding the starch-foaming composition into long fibre foam product; forming a lamination layer on the surface of the foam product with water being in contact; pressing the laminated foam product into a plate form mat; forming the mat into the desired form.
