VIDEO TAPE REMAIN DISPLAY APPARATUS AND RECORDING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A displaying device for remaining amount of a video tape and a recording method thereof are provided to record and detect remaining amount of information of the video tape on the tape. CONSTITUTION: A control unit reads time from an MIC(Memory In Cassette). A control unit operates a rewind mode until a location of a tape corresponding to the read time. The control unit starts recording of time information at the detected location. The control unit detects end of the tape for stopping the operation. Then, the control unit scans a remaining amount of a reproducing key signal. The remaining amount of information is outputted to a fixed head. The information is amplified for being demodulated through a demodulate unit. The control unit displays the demodulated information on a display unit.
