PURPOSE: A bolt combination device and a method thereof are provided to check bolt combination accurately by detecting the thread transfer distance of a bolt with taking the load swing of an actuator supplying power into consideration. CONSTITUTION: An automatic bolt combination apparatus assembles a shaft assembly with a motor bracket by a bolt in an automatic washing machine assembly line. A sensor detects a round protrusion formed in an operating rod(18) of a power tool(11) for bolt combination. The state of the bolt combination is detected accurately based on the change of torque detected from a motor(16) of the power tool and the detecting signal from the sensor. The reliability on bolt assembling process is improved, and the productivity is increased efficiently and the defectiveness of the article is minimized with the smooth following assembling process of the combined object.
