PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a toupee is provided to reduce the work of sewing as well as the work of hair implantation, to improve the productivity, and to easily create various hair styles. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a toupee comprises the steps of; twisting joined several yarns to form a first twisted yarn; arranging the twisted yarns into a zigzag pattern, and sewing and tying the zigzag pattern along a desired location to form a first sewing bundle; doubling a portion between the two sewing lines of the first sewing bundle, and repeatedly sewing the portion to form a toupee bundle; and implanting the toupee bundle over an artificial scalp. Alternately, the first twisted yarns are twisted into a rope form or a pigtail form via a second twisting step before the first sewing step. Also, before the implantation step of the toupee bundle, the twisted yarns of the toupee bundle are able to be curled according to a desired hair style.
