PURPOSE: Roof vent structure is provided to utilize a roof vent as an emergency escape hole by composing the roof vent cover to be divided for occupants to safely escape during emergency. CONSTITUTION: Roof vent structure comprises an opening hole formed on a roof of bus; a cover capped on the opening hole; a mounting bracket(20) fixed by a bolt on a side of the opening hole; a cover bracket(30) mutually connecting the mounting bracket by a link(31); a guide pin(22) fixed at a specific interval toward a front face of the bracket(20); a guide plate(40) fixed by a fixing bolt(23) linked to an end of the guide pin; a connecting member mutually joining the link(31) of the cover bracket(30) and of the guide plate(40) and a manipulating member sliding along the guide plate and the guide pin of both sides to be separated from a link connecting hole(42). The roof vent cover is used as an emergency escape hole with separation of the cover thus reduction of escape time of occupants is made in accident to have an effect of decreasing injuries.
