PURPOSE: A speed sensing power steering system is provided to improve the drivability, by controlling operating force of a pitman arm and varying wheel effort as vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION: A couple of dual gear box(11, 12) are equipped to be confronted each other and are connected by a sector shaft(16) connected with a pitman arm(15). A control valve(40) supplies selectively the oil pressure from a power steering pump(20) to each gear box. A valve device(40) has an opening/shutting valve equipped on a hydraulic line of the control valve and an opening pass. A control part controls the control valve.
