The invention concerns a photosensitive device such as a print sensor. Said device consists of a transparent substrate (10), a two-dimensional matrix (11) deposited on the substrate and comprising at least an image point formed by an opaque zone (13) comprising a photodetector element (14) associated with an optical window, means for illuminating (17, 18) the substrate at an angle enabling total internal reflection and a transparent layer (12) deposited on the matrix and reflecting by total internal reflection the light emitted by the illumination means towards the photodetector element.
