USE OF AN ACRYLIC POLYMER OR FUNCTIONALIZED SILICA SUPPORT IN SUPPORTED CATALYSIS

The invention relates to the use of an organic solid support based on acrylic polymers and/or copolymers in supported catalytic oxidation. The invention also relates to the use of a solid support in supported catalysis and more specifically catalytic oxidation, whereby said support is either an acrylic copolymer or functionalized silica with propylamine groups and modified by reaction on the free amine function. The metallophtalocyanines cited in the examples are fixed by covalent bonds on the above-mentioned supports and used as catalysts in the degradation of 2,4,6-trichlorophenol (TCP) by hydrogen peroxide.
